WoW Insider Show on hiatus this weekend

Sadly, my friend, the Conan to my Andy, the Don Quixote to my Sancho Panza (I never did get my governorship) Michael Sacco is feeling under the weather and so, this weekend, there will be no WoW Insider show . We considered doing the show with just me hosting, but the prospect of an entire show dedicated to my poor choice in accents (is it Scottish, Russian, or pirate? I can’t tell either) and talking about tanking on a warrior in excruciating detail didn’t seem like the best move.

Answers and Ale

S trange music from stranger instruments wafted among the tents. Warm light from lanterns glowed within each tent, silhouetting the revelers on the canvas

So, you’re bored, what do you do? Heroics Edition

H ey Gang! So if you’re like me, you’re probably so burned out from running the Daily heroics that your brain has exploded all over your keyboard. Spontaneous Combustion! BAM! The situation that most everyone’s still in is a couple of different things: A) You still need Frost Emblems for gear B) You still need Triumph Badges for gear C) You have absolutely nothing else to do with your time D) You are a masochistic person and enjoy the pain that it brings because it makes you feel alive Well, what ever combination you’re situation is right now, you still need to force yourself to run them. Most of the time, if you bring a buddy, it makes it 10x better

Fire Questions Answered

In regards to the frag belt , as opposed to simply building the individual bombs. If you want to use the cobalt bombs every minute instead of the belt every six, go right ahead. The belt is far cheaper in the long run, which is the only reason I consider it superior to using individual bombs.

Invincible Music, Reslience Change Update, Blue Posts

Invincible Music The latest Battlecry Mosaic tile was revealed last night and along with it a new unlock.? This time it isn’t images though; it’s a music piece we’ve never heard before called Invincible, no doubt about Arthas Menethil’s mount which died during his youth, but is now raised to serve him even in death! Blue Posts Resilience changes requires a server restart ( Source ) There was some confusion on our end so here is the clarification on this change going live. The hotfix is live, but it requires a server restart before it will actually affect your gear

Mutiny on the Bloodtide…

Our guild is under new leadership. We’d been under a lot of strain to start moving the guild forward.

Shared Topic : Relationships In Azeroth

Relationships in Azeroth is this weeks shared topic, I think Vent or Teamspeak if you like plays a massive part in the building of any relationship in Azeroth. Its one thing to have all your communication done by text chat, but to be able to speak to the person and instantaneously communicate Ideas, or events makes the interaction more ‘real.’ When the person has a voice, and are not pretty green or pink lines on a screen your interaction transcends that of being pure avatar based. They have a Pitch, and a tone and inflections in a voice that beat any or > < symbol you can type in chat.

Monday Shout Out

This is going to be kind of a quick post. First off, I’m working on the UI guide which should be finished this week.

Notes for the New RPer

One of the hardest things about being in an established RP group is dealing with people that obviously want to join in… but who are so clueless as to toe the /ignore line because their behavior is egregiously annoying. This goes whether you’re new to the group, to the server, or new to RP altogether. As a whole, RPers like new people

Abusing the Language – Using Accents in Roleplay

One of the things I enjoy most about my current roleplay is the myriad of accents I’ve been using and developing for my characters. You’ve all seen Aely’s apostrophe abuse, but she’s not the only accented character I have

What Aldo Raine Can Teach You About Raid Leading

What on earth could you learn about killer raiding and leadership from a ridiculously accented, revenge-based officer coming out of Maynardville, Tennessee? Answer: Quite a bit! If you haven’t watched Inglourious Basterds yet, I’d strongly recommend watching the movie. The Lieutenant puts together a team of eight soldiers to go behind enemy lines and do nothing but kill German Nazis
