Around Azeroth: The monarch of the seas

Unsure of what else to do in aquatic form, night elf druid Easystreet of Lightning’s Blade has taken to hanging out under Darnassus’s bridges and demanding payment from all who cross. Too bad that there aren’t a lot of people in Darnassus, and the few who hang out there are generally under level 20 and flat broke

Pandaren in the World of Warcraft

In among all of the “omg fake pets for real money” drama from this week’s announcement , we may have missed something big: the Pandaren are now live in the World of Warcraft . The Pandaren are my favorite Azerothian race, even though they’re essentially a joke — Samwise Didier just loves pandas, and he made art for an April Fool’s joke that Chris Metzen loved so much they decided to include the bears as real characters in Warcraft III .

But I Like Me How I Am

There was a new ” Under Development” article for Druids , where a bunch of questions hypothetically asked by the community were answered by Ghostcrawler. And one part of it just made me wince. In addition to having to give up utility in order to heal as a Tree of Life, we have become less enamored with druids locking themselves into one form .

One Shots: Under ‘da sea

Filed under: World of Warcraft , Fantasy , Screenshots , One Shots Life can be better, down where it’s wetter. Well, if you don’t mind all the murlocs, orcas, sharks, and other various things trying to eat your face in the waters of Northrend.

More details on updated Druid Forms.

I am really digging the new Druid form art and I know a lot of you are too. It seems that for this push in the next major content patch (3.2) we’re going to get the new bear and cat forms but not anything else

Breakfast Topic: Fishing is awesome

Filed under: Fishing , Breakfast topics WoW is a many-faceted game. One of the facets that I’ve really been enjoying recently is fishing; after getting my Dark Herring last weekend, I only need to polish off my last few Northrend pools to ding Accomplished Angler on my rogue. I also pulled up a sea turtle last weekend, and let me tell you, that thing is fun, especially because I don’t have my flying mount yet (three more levels to go on that character), so it’s the fastest way I have to get around aquatic areas

Aquatic mounts and the next expansion

Filed under: Analysis / Opinion , Fan stuff , Blizzard , Expansions , Mounts , Rumors A lot of you readers glommed right on to the first thing that I too noticed in the notes about the patch 3.1 pets and mounts yesterday . Ok, well, the first thing I noticed was the Gurloc and Wolvar orphans — new Children’s Week fun! — but the second thing was the fact that we’ve got an “aquatic” mount going into the game for the first time ever
