The Care and Feeding of Warriors: But hitting buttons is fun!

The Care and Feeding of Warriors is about warriors, those lovable, squeezable, strokeable bundles of pure joy who seethe with a burning inner fire, a rage that can only be quenched in blood. Matthew Rossi tries quenching it in delicious caffeinated beverages

Answers and Ale

S trange music from stranger instruments wafted among the tents. Warm light from lanterns glowed within each tent, silhouetting the revelers on the canvas

WoW Moviewatch: A Dead Bug’s Life

Today we feature the last of the European winners for Alienware’s Rise to Power contest. A Dead Bug’s Life is the creation of Erunno and Frozen DeathKnight , two of the luminaries who regularly post over on the Myndflame site. You should remember Erunno from his outstanding work with The White Drake , a movie that helped redefine visual storytelling in Wrath of the Lich King machinima

One Night with the King

Thanks for all the comments on the Twinking post. I’ve decided to level my Hunter, and I’ve started working on a gear list for him. It’s almost like end game gear planning, which I enjoy, only with much less guidance

Shifting Perspectives: Karapalooza 2010

Every week, Shifting Perspectives explores issues affecting druids and those who group with them .

It came from the Blog: Gurubashi Beatdown

First an apology: I’m really sorry we didn’t have an It came from the Blog Lunar Festival event. I and my family came down with a series of non-serious, but very symptom-heavy plagues that knocked me out of WoW for a few weeks

Your Magic Betrays You!

Thursday night we headed back into Ice Crown Citadel. Tuesday I had had ridiculous lag to the point I could barely function. And it was ONLY on Altar of Storms

Phat Loot Phriday: Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand

Glorenzelg, High-Blade of the Silver Hand lives on multiple best-in-slot lists.

The Icecrown Citadel buff

As I’m not currently raiding, I didn’t mention the Icecrown Citadel buff up to now. Blizzard had already in previous expansions made characters stronger and nerfed raid dungeons with time, so that at the end of an expansion people could visit raid dungeons they had been previously been unable to beat.

Shifting Perspectives: Tree 1, Arthas 0

Every week, Shifting Perspectives explores issues affecting druids and those who group with them . This week, we save the world (of Warcraft). Originally this week’s article was going to concern stomping Karazhan from top-to-bottom as a feral/resto druid, and then I got Big Bad Wolf for the opera event.

Arthas is a Whiner

So, one of my more favorite guildmates (Ilcyira) has decided to make a video about something she and I have had several discussions about over the course of her reading of Arthas by Christie Golden. I have to warn you, it’s very NSFW (and contains a few spoilers), but I laughed. Enjoy! Oh, it’s also worth mentioning that this is the same Ilcyira who posted this next little gem on Youtube, too – she’s the singer, and her husband is the other voice you hear at the very beginning.

Tuesday Morning Post: Beginning of the end edition

Happy Tuesday morning, everyone! I name this week’s post not in a negative sense, but in a sense that it does seem like we’ve officially started winding down Wrath . Specifically, we recently saw the addition of the first edition of the Icecrown Citadel raid buff .

Ready Check: To Warsong or not to Warsong

For the first time this week, the Icecrown Citadel raid saw the addition of the “tugboat” buff known as Hellscream’s Warsong and the Strength of Wrynn . Essentially, this buff will provide a 5% increase to raiders’ damage, healing, and health. Over time, that percentage increase will eventually reach a 30% buff

Doom-Free-Zone

As a quick reminder, Too Many Annas is (and will remain) an expansion free zone until about 3-4 weeks before Cataclysm drops . I’ll happily do another round-up post when that time comes, like I did for Wrath of the Lich King, but until then?

Around Azeroth: Were the world mine

Laser light show! Valafar of Exodar may need to take a break from this feature for his own sanity — his latest e-mail refers to himself as ‘the greatest photographer in Azeroth’ — but he certainly knows how to put on a performance. His latest masterpiece depicts the life and unlife of Arthas Menethil, set to the tune of Rush’s 2112, with special effects provided by the Gnomeregan Engineering Corps (or Corpses, depending on how long they’ve spent in those irradiated tunnels.) Do you have any unusual, beautiful or interesting World of Warcraft images that are just collecting dust in your screenshots folder?

Hall of Fame: Seata of Dragonmaw-US

The Warcraft Econ Hall of Fame is a column featuring the few elite players that have hit the World of Warcraft gold cap of 214,748 gold 36 silver 46 copper.

I’m-a Callin’ You Out

It’s not often that I feel the need to publicly denounce somebody, but this is a pretty special case. Coordinated douchebaggery. I’ll explain.

Roadblock

On Monday, Team I took care of our unfinished business in Ice Crown Citadel from earlier in the week and cleared Blood Queen, and then the Plague Wing.

Breakfast Topic: What’s love got to do with it?

Jaina Proudmoore . Tyrande Whisperwind . Garona Halforcen .

Authenticator Accounts Hacked, ICC Quests, Crimson Deathcharger

Trojan succesfully hacks Authenticator Protected Accounts A new virus spawned on the internet a few days ago and seems to be the first trojan capable of hacking a WoW account protected by an Authenticator. It was confirmed by Blizzard a few hours ago. Quote from: Kropacius ( Source ) After looking into this, it has been escalated, but it is a Man in the Middle attack.
