Hunter Tanking ICC: Prince Keleseth

Ahh… ICC is a marvelous thing, every encounter a new mechanic, every encounter a different way for a hunter to shine! Today I’ll be talking about one of the ideal bosses to plop a hunter on as tank, Prince Keleseth.

Gold, entitlement, and morality

As I mentioned in the previous post, Tobold the tauren shaman of Single Abstract Noun is now level 20. What I didn’t mention is that he has 851 gold pieces in his pocket, having earned 1,092 gold over his live already, starting from nothing, and with no outside help. That is something I *am* proud of.

Sword of the New World: Let’s get political GamersFirst’s achingly pretty MMO import Sword of the New World, n?e Granado Espada, is getting new content in its Political PvP system, allowing players to “run for office, control the colonies, and be a tyrant” in the SotNW universe’s bizarro-America. Battlestar Galactica MMO on its way to your browser TV space opera Battlestar Galactica follows in the footsteps of that other popular space show and gets its own MMO — right in your browser

Cataclysm: Stat and system changes for shadow priests

Fire! Brimstone! Dragons! Heroic Van Cleef ! The world is going to get turned upside down when Cataclysm hits, and the shadow priest spec is going to get turned upside down right along with it.

Video games that change the world

As time goes on video games are slowly shaking off their reputation of being nothing more pointless escapism.

On a Bike – with the WSG Flag.

You may have seen / been aware of the little exploit in BG’s where if someone hops in a bike passenger seat, and then clicks on the WSG flag they can be driven up the WSG battlefield in style on a motorcycle. I am not going to pretend that I follow the rules all the time – Wow – life – I can be slightly unconventional but when it comes to breaking rules I am a little more conservative – would rather stretch a rule then break it, and It’s not likely to be planned – but more a spur of the moment – lets see what happens, but not before I at least consider the consequences and the reward

Starfall Buffed

The PTR Patch Notes were updated with a couple of moonkin changes. If you haven’t seen them, they are: * Nature’s Grasp: Now has 3 charges, up from 1. Balance * Starfall: The damage done by this spell has been significantly increased

Blue Posts Galore

There have been a few Blue Posts focused on monkin over the past week. None of them are huge but I would like to highlight them in case they have been missed.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: Arms 101

A look at Owlkin Frenzy

If you browse the WoW forums at all it is very likely that you’ve seen a post like this: OMG!!! Owlkin Frenzy is awesome in ICC because of all the raid damage. You guys are noobs if you don’t pick it up. I was always very sceptical of these claims

Call for Posts: What I want to see at BlizzCon 2010

Last week we did a test run of our Guest Writer program asking our Twitter followers to write an article giving five tips to DPSers running random heroics. Our test run was a success (the winning article will be published later this week), and we’re now ready to begin allowing everyone to have the chance to become a Guest Writer on WoW.com! WoW.com runs the program through Aol’s Seed. You can find out more about the program in our announcement post about the Guest Writer program, and at our newly re-vamped Contributing to WoW.com page

All the World’s a Stage: You can’t be a vampire

It’s not my goal to discuss whether or not there are actually vampires in WoW . The Crimson Halls certainly seems to support the idea that the Cullen-crowd can get their bite on in Azeroth, maybe even cuddled up against the vampire LARPers . But even with the Sanlayn rocking the vampire thing in Northrend, there still aren’t any playable vampires in WoW

Cooking dailies, while not the flashiest daily quests in the World of Warcraft, are still important for people who are both interested in Raiding and making easy money on the Auction House. I’ll get into the value of these dailies at the end of this post, after I’m done giving you brief overviews and descriptions of each quest.
