WoW Moviewatch: Beware of the Baby B

Michael Gray is still feeling a bit under the weather, and I have heard no news on the status of the puppy , so! Today’s offering is another of the winners of the Alienware Rise to Power contest! Beware of the Baby B is a charming little three minute story by Olibith , who we’ve featured before numerous times on WoW Moviewatch. Much like the other Rise to Power winners, it’s a pretty jaw-dropping movie in terms of effects and production. Beware of the Baby B is a tale about a baby beholder with a big appetite, and what happens when said appetite gets entirely out of control.

WoW Moviewatch: World of Gnomecraft 2.0

Michael Gray is feeling a little under the weather, so I’ve kidnapped his column. He can have it back in exchange for his puppy . Moving on, we’ve got one of the winners of the Alienware Rise to Power contest who’s name should be familiar — Baron Soosdon , who’s delightful works such as T for Thunderfury , No Point: Stretching Time , and Sex, Gnomes And Videotape: So I Went To France have been featured before here on WoW Moviewatch .

WRUP: Something I noticed edition

As we were preparing for this weekend’s WRUP , I noticed something. In the past, you may have noticed Alex noticing that some of us had forgotten the P in WRUP. This is to say, that many of us were not playing WoW , and in fact were not playing any video game whatsoever! I noticed that not only are we back to playing games on this lovely Labor Day weekend, but that we’re specifically playing WoW

WRUP: We’re taking poetic license on this one

For today’s WRUP , I’m just going to let the team speak for themselves. In the form of this poem by Michael Gray : Would you raid listening to GWAR

Patch 3.2 lowers casting time on flying mounts

As dear Wryxian announced earlier today , we’re getting a new build on the PTR. The unofficial notes for this build are already making the rounds , and they’re… not very interesting! Perhaps the most notable change is that the change to mount casting speed, previously only applied to ground mounts, now affects flying mounts as well.

WRUP: Live long and Ulduar edition

Filed under: Analysis / Opinion , Odds and ends There is a slight, very slight , chance that the WoW Insider crew is made up of a bunch of geeks. And while we’re supposed to stay focused on the World of Warcraft , sometimes our geekiness draws us out of our virtual shell and into movie theaters or comic stores or other, more frightening non-virtual environments.

WRUP: It’s spring time…

Filed under: Odds and ends Though the picture above is actually not of Northrend, we’re pretty sure that’s about what spring time in Northrend looks like. But enough meteorology! What’s the WoW Insider team up to in game this weekend? Adam Holisky : /sings It’s spring time, for my Death Knight, in Northrend
