Being poor in a mature economy

The two alts I made last year are twinked to the max: Heirloom items, the best gear and consumable money can buy, and in some extreme cases I even had expensive enchantments on very low level gear. There is a certain fun to be had when playing a completely overpowered low level character. But for Tobold the tauren shaman, my new alt in the blogging community guild, I wanted to try something different

Insider Trader: A crafting bazaar

When most people talk about making money with their professions, they usually get pretty focused on Trade channel and the Auction House . It makes a lot of sense, really, because these are the two main avenues of selling in the game. The Trade channel is named Trade for a reason, and if you can brush aside all the Chuck Norris and murloc jokes, you can fairly easily broker a deal

Matt’s covered the basic profession changes in patch 3.3.3 , but I wanted to spend some more time with those changes. At face value, they may not seem like a very big deal.

Patch 3.3.3 Professions Changes, Blue posts

Patch 3.3.3 Professions Changes Patch 3.3.3 will introduce a couple of VERY interesting changes to professions. The first part of the change is obviously the removal of most of the transmutation cooldowns, it will affect most tiers of crafted items and it wouldn’t be surprising to see items like Breastplate of the White Knight drop from 4000 to 2000G at the AH. The 2nd part is also very interesting if you’re looking for cheap epic gear to start running instances with your alts, all the crafted recipes from Ulduar had their reagents cost considerably lowered and you can expect to find these items for less than 1000G

Picking A Professions For Profit

Picking a profession may be a difficult choice for you when starting a character or power leveling a profession.

Patch 3.3.3 is going to the PTR soon, and there’s a bunch of stuff that will affect those of us who play the auction house. I’m going to list them in the order I see them, and then we’ll go into some analysis: Professions Runed Orbs: Recipes which require this item have had their material requirements significantly reduced. Inscription Frozo the Renowned has moved into the Dalaran Magus Commerce Exchange and will be trading your Frozen Orbs for various other trade goods.

Material Wealth: Making Money Off BC And Pre BC Materials

Most of the World of Warcraft players are currently busy with their raids and PVP at higher levels; only a few will take the time to venture back into the old Azeroth to re experience the intense moments of original warcraft. This is absolutely understandable as the old continent does not have much to offer to the high leveled players. The only reason you would return is to level another character, help another player, or you may just go around and gank towns and cities of the opposite faction.
