Server maintenance for September 29th

While we were given ample notice regarding last week’s server maintenance, this week we weren’t so lucky. We were only informed earlier today of tomorrow’s maintenance , which will start at 5:00 am PDT and last until 11:00 am PDT.

Breakfast Topic: So what do you think of patch 3.2?

It’s been an interesting week in Azeroth with Call of the Crusade finally landing on live servers. Patch 3.2 did bring with it another painful bout of maintenance for everyone involved that seemed to go one forever. However its offerings were certainly plentiful! After an age of waiting for the European realms to pop up, I appeared in Dalaran to find most of the server surrounding Matron Aria in an attempt to get the Wolvar/Oracle orphans (I went with Kekek, if you must know), the rest were swarming the Argent Tournament grounds and pushing and shoving to get into the new instance

Tuesday Morning Post: Down to the Wire edition

So this is it. A lot of people are saying it, and while there’s no word one way or another, it seems like this morning is sort of the deadline

World of Warcraft Patch 3.2 going live

WoW.com has multiple independent sources confirming the release of Patch 3.2 tomorrow (Tuesday August 4th in the US) and we’re happy to pass that information along to you.

Some servers down for 24 hours?

We normally don’t do two maintenance posts in a day, we’ll just update the original one with information, but a new line has come across the login screen service alert that is raising significant eyebrows. Apparently, and contradictory to the information presented by another blue poster earlier in the evening , a batch of realms will be offline for a full 24 hour period tomorrow.

Extended server maintenance for Tuesday August 4th

There’s a detailed server maintenance announcement for tomorrow, Tuesday August 4th. And off the bat: we still don’t know for sure if Patch 3.2 is dropping tomorrow or not yet.

European weekly maintenance: 1st July 2009

The heat is on here in the UK and we’ve actually got a summer.

European server maintenance for June 24th

Lesley , our European writer, is out of our virtual office at the moment and isn’t available to write up the EU maintenance notice for all of you. So I’m doing it. To try and make the experience authentic, please read this post in a very poor fake English accent.

Cinco de Mayo server maintenance

Filed under: Realm Status , News items There’ll be some good ol’ sever maintenance for us all tomorrow, lasting from 5:00 a.m.

Tuesday Morning Post: Vin Diesel is better edition

So here we are. 5 AM Pacific is almost upon us, then we’ll have downtime until 11 AM Pacific (Unless they extend it again). That means it’s closing time

Server maintenance for Tuesday March 24th

Filed under: News items One morning, as Michael Sacco was waking up from anxious dreams, he discovered that in his bed he had been logged out of the World of Warcraft. He lay on his muscular back and saw, as he lifted his head up a little, his cheap no-name LCD monitor lit up from across the room. From this height the monitor, just about ready to turn off completely, showed Sindragosa’s skeletal figure on the login screen.

Tuesday Morning Post: PTArgh edition

Filed under: Patches , Analysis / Opinion , Realm Status , News items I think I’m officially declaring this past weekend the weekend of the tease as far as Blizzard and World of Warcraft goes. While we did get some PTR information earlier in the week, it started in earnest on Friday, with a flurry of PTR related activity.

Tuesday Morning Post: I hate Peddlefeet edition

Filed under: Analysis / Opinion , Realm Status , Odds and ends , News items So it’s been a week since 3.0.9 dropped, but whether by design or coincidence, the attention of the WoW community has been turned away from such paltry issues as class balance and bug fixes in favor of the RNG issues with Love is in the Air and the new information about dual speccing and the whole thing with the Ice Stone . Certainly, those debates will probably rage into the future, but the news we’re really hoping for is a 3.1 PTR.
