The addition of the new 5-mans plus the easy availability of Emblems of Triumph call for an update for the gear list for protection warriors who are just hitting 80. If you follow the list, you should be able to hop into the raiding scene in little time. It’s never been easier

Alchemy is a great (and possibly the best) DPS profession because of one thing: versatility. Alchemy offers opportunities to tailor your DPS output on the fly, fight to fight, even phase to phase, that no other profession can compete with, for example: You’re fighting the Northrend Beasts, you blew your cooldowns on Gormokk right from the jump, Rapid Fire , Call of the Wild , all popped immediately as your trinkets got their first proc off. You know Heroism / Bloodlust is going to go off when the worms come out, and you’ll pop your RF and CotW again when Icehowl smashes his face into the wall in phase 3, yes?

Being unable to access the PTR, I never really got to experiment with haste differences before the patch went live. Aware that I’m sitting pretty compared to a lot of other Restoration Druids at 610 haste, I knew I was still under the cap. I would have been a little better off if I could have gotten the chest from Heroic Faction Champions, but it only dropped once and I didn’t win it

3.3 will go live today, which means I have to work on my shopping list for plate tanks very soon. To tide you over in the mean time, let’s look at what tanking goodness expects us in the 3 wings of the new 5-man in Icecrown.

Matthew Rossi has had a lot of time to think about this stuff since he switched back to tanking. If you’ve been looking over the itemization on Icecrown Citadel gear you may, like me, have noticed that some of the items that one could conceivably acquire are itemized more straightforwardly

The latest build on the PTR has uncovered the stats of the World of Warcraft’s newest legendary weapon, the two-handed axe Shadowmourne . Apparently bandied around by random GMs on the PTR, players were able to see the highly impressive stats of this weapon, which requires an epic quest to complete

Apparently there was a new PTR patch pushed out yesterday, and MMO-Champion had been hard at work squeezing all of the goodness out of it for us to read. The big thing that was added was quite a bit of loot from from the 5-man, the raids, and the Tier loot.

Ever since transferring over to my current server, I haven’t regretted it as it is just a much more “happening” server, Horde wise. My old server really had people that were big assholes with the egos to match, though skill levels may actually not compare
