It’s the weekend again, and that means it’s time for another Arcane Brilliance , the weekly mage column that would like to continue its ongoing series of “Pictures of things you’re hitting that warlock in the face with.” In today’s installment, we’ll be hitting that warlock with a large chunk of ice.


Breakfast Topic: I will destroy you

(With apologies to anyone who played Mass Effect or who brings Jack along in ME2 .) More and more lately I use the dungeon finder as a pure stress release. I don’t sign up to tank: we seem to have hit a decent steady state on Stormstrike where a queue rarely lasts more than 10 minutes for DPS, so it’s safe for me to let someone else tank and play around with DPS ideas. It’s actually to the point where I’m looking forward to seeing exactly what kind of group I’ll get on any particular run.

Gold Selling

The Problem Last week Big Bear Butt issued a call for Blizzard to end Prohibition and start selling gold to players . The theory is that by offering players a safe and legal method of purchasing gold, Blizzard will greatly damage the economic incentive of hackers and goldsellers, reducing the damage that hacked accounts are doing to the game.
