WoW Moviewatch: Nobody Like You Chris– er Hanukkah Special?

Just in time for the holidays, NinthBatter has busted out the Nobody Like You Chris– er Hanukkah Special . NinthBatter says that he created this video because there isn’t much Hanukkah machinima out there

WoW Insider Show Episode 121: So long and thanks for all the Fah-jords

Our podcast reached the end of part one last weekend, as both Turpster and I announced that we’d be leaving the show. But we didn’t let it become a sad affair — Matthew Rossi and Chase Christian both joined us for some Warcraft discussion (including when it’s ok to votekick someone , and lots of Battered Hilt discussion ), and we finally were able to have one of our favorite guys stop by: Scott Johnson from The Instance podcast

WoW Insider Show tomorrow at 3:30pm Eastern

My last episode of the WoW Insider Show is on the air tomorrow afternoon — it’ll be sad (I really love doing this show for you all), but hopefully it won’t be too maudlin. Fortunately both Matthew Rossi and Chase Christian have agreed to join us, and of course Turpster will be on with us as well — whenever the T is around, you know it’ll be a good time.

WoW Insider Show Episode 120: Dungeon Findorama

The WoW Insider Show went on the air last weekend, and despite the fact that we started out down two voices, the discussion was fast and furious, as we all had plenty to say about patch 3.3 and specifically the Dungeon Finder system . Adam Holisky , Turpster , and I started off the show, and then Matthew Rossi muscled his way in (as only someone of his stature can do) to join us in discussion on finding dungeons, Authenticators and the Corehound Pups , and since Rossi made it, we had to talk some shaman and warriors as well

WoW Insider Show Episode 119 with special guest Mary Varn

Our podcast was live on the air as usual last Saturday, and the show is now up for your listening enjoyment. Artist Mary Varn was aboard to talk with us about her comic and her Warcraft career, and Matt Low of World of Matticus also jumped on to chat with Turpster and I about the latest WoW news, including the impending patch 3.3 , the recent server outages , and the Taiwanese player who picked up all of the achievements in the game (which, probably not entirely concidentally, is the subject of Mary’s comic today). And of course we answered your emails as well

Listen to the WoW Insider Show today with special guest Mary Varn

Yes, our podcast is back again this afternoon at 3:30pm EDT, and this week we’re welcoming Mary Varn, the creator and artist behind NPC Comic , a webcomic about a girl and her two cats who all play World of Warcraft . She’ll talk with us about her work and her own characters, and since we’ll also have Kelly “Cadistra” Aarons of the new Byron the Tauren Rogue comic on again, maybe they’ll be able to share some insight on putting WoW -related cartoons together

Two pieces celebrating the 5th anniversary

Blizzard’s onslaught of fifth anniversary press continues.

Val’anyr destroyed after lost bet

As you may have noticed, there was no patch 3.3 this week, which means the guesses are starting to be wrong.

Listen to the WoW Insider Show today at 3:30pm Eastern

Our podcast (which is nominated for a Podcast Award , by the way — this is the last time we’ll ask you to vote for us over there, since voting ends on November 30th) is headed back to the virtual airwaves as usual, and this week we’re bringing two new voices into the mix.

TurpsterVision: Hands on with Chen Stormstout

We can’t believe it either – Turpster has been let loose on WoW.com to bring you videos from in and around the World of Warcraft! You’ve heard him on the WoW Insider Show , and now see him on TurpsterVision right here on WoW.com. So it’s Black Friday for a lot of you guys out there — Happy Thanksgiving for yesterday and yes, my Turkey was awesome thanks for asking! A day for picking up electrical bargains and stopping The Intersect falling into Fulcrum’s hands — I’ll be honest, my knowledge of Black Friday stems pretty much directly from episodes of Chuck . I was lucky enough to have my latest purchase come through today and I am super stoked to be able to show you guys, Chen Stormstout ! This guys is many kinds of huge — some say he looks like a fat Gene Simmons , I don’t see that being a bad thing since The Demon is also pretty awesome (though he’s no Starchild ).

World of Warcraft and Battle Chest on sale for Black Friday

Yes indeed, this Friday is none other than Black Friday , which means the deals will be aplenty, the crowds will be horrendous, and the holiday money drain will begin (of course, you could go with Buy Nothing Day , but that seems a little too grinchy to me — why not go ahead and buy while the buying’s good?). Fortunately, there are a few WoW deals floating around out there, in case you need to pick up a copy of the game for a loved one (or that Recruit-a-friend account you’ve been planning to make).

FigurePets mark WoW’s 5th Birthday Spyro style

I love FigurePrints and this has been widely documented .

TurpsterVision: This drink’s on me!

We can’t believe it either – Turpster has been let loose on WoW.com to bring you videos from in and around the World of Warcraft! You’ve heard him on the WoW Insider Show , and now see him on TurpsterVision right here on WoW.com. It’s been far too long. I’ve been playing loads of games in-between knuckling down with some university work , I’ve constructed a website for a Bristol based landscape gardener , and I’ve been on a couple of different podcasts

WoW Insider Show Episode 117: Classing up the place

We had a great show this past week — Michael Sacco jumped in via dialup from his country home to join Turpster and I to talk about the most popular stories in World of Warcraft over the past seven days. We talked about Mr.

WoW Insider Show Episode 116: We’ll see you there

Last Saturday afternoon, as usual, we sat down to record a podcast, and you can now hear the results of that below. Adam Holisky , Matt Low , and Turpster and I all got together to talk about the biggest stories from the past week in Warcraft, including what we’ve heard about the new guild leveling system , the story of the BlizzCon Vegas that won’t be, and news of two bags from the PTR. We also answer your emails, talking more about the Dungeon group system coming in the next patch, and how it’ll affect both cross-server interaction and folks looking for Oculus runs at three in the morning.

Listen to the WoW Insider Show this afternoon

Bored on a Fall afternoon? Wondering what to do with your time until Icecrown comes out

WoW Insider Show Episode 115: Use your i-mage-ination

I am pretty flabbergasted by all of the pictures you listeners have sent in to our podcast — it seems we’ve got listeners all over the globe who do all kinds of different things while listening to the show. In other words, we’ve got eyes everywhere, including Gormal, an 80 hunter from the Villiage Idiots on Quel’dorei. He found this boat on the way to work, and suggests to us it might actually be Ghostcrawler’s famous yacht

Blizzard pet store now regional

In a short (but not necessarily sweet) announcement, Zarhym announced on the official forums that the recently opened Blizzard pet store are now regional. This means that pets purchased from, say, the European store can only be redeemed on European World of Warcraft accounts

Listen to the WoW Insider Show live this afternoon

Our podcast returns to the virtual airwaves this afternoon and if you were watching our Twitter feed this week, you’d know the big news: Christian Belt has decided to come and join us.

WoW Insider Show Episode 114: Live on location

I think this might be one of my favorite things we’ve ever done (though all credit must go to Turpster, as usual). Last week on the show, he asked listeners for pictures of where they’re listening to the show, and we got a nice gallery below of all of you in different places (many of you at work, which makes us worry a little bit), all listening to the WoW Insider Show all over the world
