Dungeons & Dragons: Pathfinder d20

Hey guys!! I’m not too sure how many of you all are familiar with D20 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons, but if you like pen and paper role playing games at all it’s a great system. Recently a company by the name of Paizo came out with a new version of 3.5 D20 D&D called Pathfinder . You can even go to their site and check out most of the core rules at this link: Pathfinder D20 .

Social network spam

I was playing around with Facebook/Google integration and ended up sending a friend request to everyone in my mail contacts who has a Facebook account.

HLich King and tons of Paladin news

So far, many guilds haven’t even been able to see the Lich King on heroic, which is something that actually brings a tear to my eye. Even though most of the content just has bigger numbers when switched to heroic, there’s something about having these encounters take a tiny amount of skill that makes me

WoW Lore and Rubber Bands

In which Anna makes an analogy to describe WoW Lore. There’s a lot of information out there about WoW Lore

MS Paint: A raid leaders delight

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, MS paint is one of the greatest things a raid leader can use. Not just for making fancy diagrams or editing pictures with positioning marks, but also for the hilarity factor

Kasumi DLC Video Montage

Saw this over on Gametrailers and wanted to share it here. This is the first time we get to see the formal wear Shepard is going to use, the new sub-machine gun, Kasumi’s voice, as well as some very awesome ability shots like Kasumi’s stealth insta-kill move.

3.3.3 Random Dungeons, Blue posts, WoW TCG

Patch 3.3.3 – Random Dungeons Changes Patch 3.3.3 should be deployed during the next maintenance on live servers and it’s time to mention a few interesting changes to the Dungeon Finder that I forgot to report in the past weeks.

The end of the Ultima brand

Once upon a time, in a previous millenium, there was a great series of single-player roleplaying games called Ultima. They were relatively open world compared to their competitors, and so it is not surprising that the series culminated in one of the first mass market MMORPGs, Ultima Online. Unfortunately once they acquired the brand, EA didn’t treat it all that well

If Thrall and Jaina Made a Baby.

I have a small thing for Thrall. I admit that liking a green orc is probably not the sanest thing a Night Elf could um uh… lust after admire, his strength and honor, his leadership, his bearing…. I wanted him and Jaina to get together

How to buy your way into a raid.

No, this isn’t about how you can literally buy a raid slot, much like Gevlon did many months ago.

Spring Cleaning – Out With the Old, In With the New

I think I mentioned about a year or so ago that I’d be moving to self-host. That day is quickly arriving, and it’s about time.

Leveling a DK: An Introduction to Power Leveling Concepts

Heya guys!! So I recently made a post illustrating the core concepts and decisions you need to approach when leveling a DK. And that in turn has generated some interest in the Power Leveling aspect of DK’s

Answers and Ale

S trange music from stranger instruments wafted among the tents. Warm light from lanterns glowed within each tent, silhouetting the revelers on the canvas

Loot Greifing.

I am endeavoring to take more screen shots of all the funny things that happen – Would you belive I STILL can’t find my Screen shot folder on my 64 Bit Windows so I have to SS and then paste into Gimp. I even installed Piccaso to try and see if it was hiding in some odd directory

I got Gevlon worried

I must admit that I always thought that Gevlon, like the Tin Man in the Wizard of Oz, had no heart. When last year I pulled the stunt of claiming to be somebody else (to make a point about identity on the internet), I choose Gevlon for the simple reason that he was the least likely to get upset about somebody stealing his identity. I thought Gevlon was intelligent, but was completely lacking what is called “Emotional Intelligence”.

ICC Hall of Fame, Blue posts, Fan Arts

Icecrown Citadel Hall of Fame Update It’s been a couple of weeks since the last update of the Hall of Fame and pretty much everything on that list is now down. Hopefully we will see an heroic kill of the Lich King (25) very soon, maybe before the 10% version of the zone-wide buff

Final Fantasy XIII – First Impressions

I’m 14 hours into Final Fantasy XIII, which curiously enough means I haven’t even left the “tutorial” part yet, which lasts for about 20 hours before you are given basic functionalities like choosing your group members or choosing where to go. So I’m not calling this a review. But as I’ll be away from my PS3 for the coming two weeks, that means I won’t write a review anytime soon

Spooncraft does FFXIV: Disciplines of Magic

I already covered the disciplines of war and now its time to cover the remaining announced disciplines. We’ve got two more “combat” disciplines comprised of the spell-caster types and we’ve got some profession based disciplines.

A new post!

I’ve nothing terribly exciting to report, but I figured I’d better post something since it’s been kinda quiet around here.

Cataclysm Parry: Part I

One of the most interesting changes coming in Cataclysm is the new Parry mechanic. Currently, a Parry prevents 100% of the damage on the current swing and speeds up your next swing
