Players ask for national servers in World of Warcraft
Written by .

Blizzard's World of Warcraft MMORPG - Image 1As you all know, Blizzard’s World of Warcraft has attracted public from different parts of the world. Getting all of these players to understand each other can be a problem sometimes. To solve that, it was suggested that Blizzard add national servers so WoW players can mingle with those that speak the same language.

Some said that adding more server realms with localized languages would be simple, but Community Manager Tharfor counters that “this is “not a decision that can be taken lightly.” He pointed out that the World of Warcraft must have full support for any new languages that they were to add in the realm selection screen.

What could Blizzard do to help out those who don’t speak English as their native language? Short of adding a universal translator for the players, there doesn’t seem to be a way to solve that. However, seeing as players from the same country generally have their own favored realms, finding a group to play with shouldn’t be very difficult.
