gaining reputation - Image 1

Gaining reputation in World of Warcraft can be moment consuming at times, particularly for some of the more discriminating factions like the Darkspear trolls where you can only gain reputation from non-repeatable quests and donations.

However, there is a way around that, as some of you may already know. Gamer Zantoku asked how to gain more rep with the Darkspear Trolls after having already done numerous quests and not wanting to gather the equivalent donations to get the rest of the mandatory rep.

Gamer Testarossa later replied that any quest that gives city reputation will additionally increase reputation for the Darkspear Trolls and suggests on “continuing to do old quest, that includes old instances, grey quest etc. even whether they don’t have any trolls related to it.”

Blizzard Poster Drysc later added to that, confirming that quests that give city rep do indeed give reputation to the Darkspear Trolls. In fact, it gives reputation to every other major faction:

I believe the bleed by is about 25 into every other major faction reputation when completing a quest for one. So, for instance, you could get 100 rep for a quest rewarding Orgrimmar reputation and you would receive 25 rep for Darkspear Trolls. (This bleed by isn’t noted in the log)
