WoW Forums: A guide to questing in Outland

A guide to questing in Outland - Image 1For the World of Warcraft adventurers who’ve just dinged to level 60, there’s nothing quite as intimidating as taking your very first steps into the Burning Crusade expansion’s Outland area. Twisted and seething with malevolent energy, this huge wasteland is the final frontier for WoW players wanting to train until level 70. At least until Wrath of the Lich King comes out next year.

Now, whether you’re a little overwhelmed by the Outland area’s land mass, we’ve picked up word of a brief guide that Blizzard blue-texter Eyonix posted by at the forums. It’s a listing of the zones you’ll want to visit from level 60 to 70, all of which supply for ample supplies of both experience and gold:

  • Hellfire Peninsula
  • Zangarmarsh
  • Terokkar
  • Nagrand
  • Blade’s Edge
  • Netherstorm

With my last 70 I was able to hit level cap without going to Netherstorm — which was great considering that left me with another zone that I could quest in post 70 where experience is converted to gold, and prepare a bunch of cash.

This appears to be one of several suggestions the local WoW veterans were offering to player Hordeorc, who originally posted the question.
